Graus do adjetivo em inglês

COMPARATIVO = compara um objeto, uma situação ou um indivíduo ao outro.

IGUALDADE: Biel is as taller as Diogo

SUPERIORIDADE Jessica is taller than Gerusa

INFERIORIDADE   Dedéu is less careful  than Nailza

SUPERLATIVO = Compara um objeto, uma situação ou um indivíduo ao conjunto restante

EXEMPLOS:Gabi is the tallest in the classroom        

Joe is the oldest of them all

GRAU COMPARATIVO ADJETIVOS CURTOS

Acrescenta-se er ao final do adjetivo

Ex:  She is taller than me (Ela é maior do que eu)

Você usa um adjetivo comparativo + than quando você compara duas coisas diferentes:

Ex: Brazil is bigger than Sweden (O Brasil é maior do que a Suécia)

Portugal is smaller than Brazil.  (Portugal é menor do que o Brasil)

The car is faster than bicycle. ( O carro é mais rápido do que a bicicleta)

CASOS ESPECIAIS (A= CS – S) GOOD = BETTER THAN- BEST  BAD = WORSE THAN – THE WORST   FAR = TARTHER THAN – THE FARTHEST
